In 2023 when we published our interactive map we did not believe that it would be such a success.  What was supposed to be a simple complement toRV Guide has become an entity in itself and seems to respond to a real need.  The number of visits has continued to increase since the launch and the growing number of members are forcing us to review the quality of our offer.  A more structured interactive map exclusive to site members will be online from May 1, 2024.  Members will also be able to obtain the list of RV stops and parking lots in addition to the web map.  The list of affordable campsites as well as all resources will be offered exclusively to members.  Access remains free for all.

Unlike certain organizations which attempt to limit access to Haltes-VR published on their sites,our sites are public and open to all. *

The mission of Haltes-VR Gratuites is to offer travelers with RVs (caravanners) free or low-cost places to spend the night with their equipment in complete safety when they are in transit between two destinations.  These stops are not campsites and only offer a parking space, generally without services.  Users must respect caravanner etiquette and behave respectfully during their stays on these premises.

It is important to encourage local traders and act according to the rules posted by the authorities.  Caravanners must limit their use of the premises to the strict minimum so as not to disturb public peace.

 

The current map will remain online for Internet users who visit the site and who are not members of Haltes-VR Gratuites.  This map will no longer be updated in the future.
